At Verisk Analytics, I work as a backend-focused software engineer, spending most of my time building and maintaining APIs, working with databases, and supporting cloud-based systems. My role involves understanding product needs, translating them into backend logic, and making sure the systems remain stable and easy to work with for other teams.

  • Backend & data workflows: I work with Python services that process and store large volumes of data, handling validation, transformations, and database interactions using PostgreSQL and AWS-managed services.
  • API development & integrations: I design and maintain REST APIs used by internal applications, focusing on clear request/response design, error handling, and long-term maintainability.
  • AI-backed internal platforms: I contribute to backend services for internal AI-driven tools, working on data handling, API logic, and deployment workflows while collaborating closely with senior engineers.
